Accessibility Statement

The Business Workshop wants this website to be easy to use for as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technology such as screen readers, screen magnifiers or keyboard-only navigation.

1. How this website has been built

The website has been designed with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA in mind. It includes:

  • a clear heading structure on every page
  • text alternatives for meaningful images
  • full keyboard navigation, with a visible focus outline showing where you are
  • a "skip to main content" link at the top of every page
  • text and button colours checked for contrast
  • form fields with clear labels and error messages that explain how to fix a problem
  • a layout that adapts to phones, tablets and desktops, and works when text is enlarged
  • no flashing content, and reduced animation for people who choose that in their device settings

2. Known limitations

This website has not yet been independently audited, and some parts may not be fully accessible. For example:

  • the contact form sends enquiries through FormSubmit, a third-party service, whose own pages are outside our control
  • fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so if they don't load, a standard system font is used instead

Work to improve accessibility is ongoing, and this statement will be updated when changes are made.
